The HF100 is a sleek, matte-gray compact flash-based camcorder which includes a loads of features and can capture full resolution HD video in either 24p Cinema mode or 30p progressive.

The HF100 is a very user friendly camcorder in Canon’s Vixia series, which can record AVCHD video at a maximum of 17 megabits per second and supports the full 1,920×1,080 capture.The HF100 optically stabilized f1.8-3.0 12X zoom with the help of Canon’s new patentet Instant AutoFocus and SuperRange Optical Image Stabilizer. The HF100 can also captures HD vedios directly by a Secure Digital HC flash memory card, with it’s HD CMOS Image Sensor, which works in concert with a DIGIC DV II Image Processor for superior color and clarity.

The Canon Vixia HF100 offers you with aperture- and shutter-priority exposure modes, three fixed/one variable zoom speed options, a video light, Instant AF, and a wind-screen filter for video shooting and for still photos, metering, flash, and burst and exposure bracketing options. Review: Canon PowerShot S3 IS

canon_s3_3q.jpg

Canon PowerShot S3 IS steps into the third generation of ’super zoom‘ compact by Canon.The new Canon PowerShot S3 IS model integrates a 6-megapixel CCD sensor, the 12x optical zoom but boosts the sensitivity range up to ISO 800, has a larger 2.0-inch vari-angle screen, Canon’s renowned optical Image Stabilizer technology and video functionality rivalling that of dedicated digital video camcorders.

The S3 IS is a comfortable design camcoder with fast and responsive qualities, it also provides flip and twist LCD that offers you fast and high-quality lens with effective optical image stabilization. A very well-executed megazoom camera, the Canon PowerShot S3 IS lacks in raw support and faux wide-screen capture. The  Canon PowerShot S3 IS comes in a striking new finish in gunmetal grey.The S3 is ready to take the command with its new features including an increased sensitivity range of ISO 80 to ISO 800, a larger 2.0″ vari-angle LCD screen, widescreen (16:9) recording, new movie features and an additional Sports mode.

Features:

* 12x optical zoom lens with USM and UD lens element
* Optical Image Stabilizer
* 6.0 Megapixel CCD
* Larger size 2.0” Vari-angle LCD
* 30fps VGA movies with stereo sound and Photo in Movie feature
* DIGIC II, iSAPS and Flexizone AF/AE for fast, precise results and 2.3 fps continuous shooting performance
* 20 shooting modes and My Colors photo effects
* High ISO Auto and ISO 800 for low light flexibility
* Widescreen (16:9) recording
*Powered by 4 AA-size batteries (alkaline batteries supplied); stores images on SD memory cards (16 MB card included)

Review: Canon PowerShot SD750

canon_powershot_sd750_sd1000.jpgCanon’s new Digital ELPH a feature-packed little camera the Canon PowerShot SD750 offers 7-megapixel siblings and a banging 3 inch LCD display and a snapshooters who favor big LCDs over optical viewfinders. The Canon PowerShot SD750’s attractive design is the eye-catching one and excellent photo quality that takes it towards the pinnacles. The 5.3-ounce SD750 is an ultracompact digital camera with 3.6×2.2×0.8 inch body, 3x zoom lens covers a fairly average range from 35-105mm equivalent, a moderate wide-angle to a moderate telephoto.

The Canon PowerShot SD750 is the most popular in the market this days due to its relatively fast speed and above-average movie quality as well as SD750’s large LCD display. The SD750 comes in two themes- silver and silver with black accents. It offers a host of color enhancements and scene modes, exposure compensation, and a choice of three metering modes. The Canon SD750 is also featured with the touch dial control, a face-detection AF mode technology, AiAF automatic focus-point selector and center focus. The LCD appears bright and easy to see, even in direct sunlight, exposure is fully automatic but the user can bias it up or down with 2.0 EV of exposure compensation in 1/3 EV steps to handle difficult lighting. Inspite of lacking the image stabilization the Canon PowerShot SD750 has a more elegant, cutting-edge design, large LCD and–to my eyes, at least–better photo quality.

Review: Fujifilm FinePix S5800

ff.JPGThe Fuji film new 8 megapixel Fine Pix S5800, is full professional photographer camera who wants a compact, lightweight camera the versatility of SLR-like operation and huge 10x optical zoom. The camera features unique Fujifilm technologies such as Intelligent Flash, Fujinon optics, movie recording with sound, ISO 1600 light sensitivity and anti-blur technology, for pin-sharp shots even when shooting moving subjects.  It’s also perfect for holiday-makers, especially backpackers with the limited space they have for kit, who will benefit from its tiny, lightweight but robust proportions and the huge zoom range, from wide-angle to telephoto.

The camera’s fixed lens housing also ensures super-fast start-up time of just 1.1 seconds, ensuring even unexpected action can be captured easily and quickly. Not only is the lens capable of picking out detail in the distance with its 10x optical zoom, it also features a Super Macro mode. With this mode selected the FinePix S5800 is able to focus on objects down to just 1cm so that everything from close-ups of flora and fauna to wide, sweeping landscapes are within its reach.

Main Features:

* ISO 1600 light sensitivity for flash-free shooting, even in low light, which means photos will look much more natural with balanced background and foreground exposure. On-board flash can sometimes leave the foreground looking over-exposed, whilst losing the background altogether thanks to the limited range and the harsh effect of direct flash
* Unique Fujifilm lighting systems such as Intelligent Flash, which assesses the scene and sets power output accordingly, and Natural Light plus Flash, which takes one shot with, and one without flash and pops both up side-by-side for easy comparison (for those times when you do want to shed a little more light on your photo)
* Continuous shooting, which keeps shooting until the shutter button is released, then retains either the first or final three frames, for action sequence photography
* Dual compatibility for xD-Picture Card™ and Secure Digital memory card formats
* Integrated lens so users never have to invest in more lenses or worry about dust on the sensor (a common problem with SLR cameras and detachable lenses). Plus a huge 10x zoom range, with 1cm Super Macro shooting capability, so that everything from close-ups of loved ones to landscapes of honeymoon beaches is in range, and pin-sharp thanks to the unrivalled quality of Fujinon, Fujifilm’s renowned lens division, optics
* Fujifilm’s unique Anti-blur technology, which assesses the scene and optimises the ISO sensitivity setting so that the camera can use a fast shutter speed, even in limited light, freezing even fast-moving action without blur
* Movie recording, with sound, for those times when a still image isn’t enough. Electronic Image Stabilisation ensures handheld movies do not suffer from blur caused by camera shake
* Bright 2.5-inch, 230,000-pixel screen with 60fps refresh rate and Wide View filter for easy framing, reviewing and sharing of images, even in bright sunlight
* 12 scene position modes
* Powered by 4 AA batteries
* 26MB internal memory
