Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD 700 Camcorder
Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD700 digicam was introduced and will be available from October 19th in Japan. Comes in same body design with Xacti CA65 digicam, HD700 only capable to produce 720p HD, not 1080p as in Xacti DMX-HD1000. The video produced by HD700 is compatible with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video format.
For capturing still image, Xacti DMX-HD700 capable to to give 7.1MP resolution, same resolution as in Xacti VPC-HD2 compact camcorder .All pictures and video captured will be stored to a SD/SDHC memory card which is included on the sales package.
Sanyo improved the HD700 portability by reducing it’s dimension by 10% and its weight by 16% to be just 189 grams.
Samsung VM-DX10 DVD Flash Hybrid Camcorder
Samsung Electronics presented its DVD Flash hybrid camcorder ‘VM-DX10′ during KES 2007, which adopts 4GB built-in memory and 2.7-inch touch panel LCD screen.
The VM-DX10 supports allowing it to produce realistic, vivid images, Hyper Image Stabilizer feature and quick start function.
It is expected to be available in Korea market in November, and suggested price is below 700,000(KRW).
Hitachi hybrid DVD / HDD camcorders: DZ-HS301, DZ-HS303 Review
Looks like Hitachi’s DZ-HS500A isn’t the only hybrid DVD / hard drive camcorder they’ve got planned (although these do look very similar, and are likely just different model numbers). After we previously heard about this Wooo, it looks like Hitachi’s gone final on the DZ-HS301 and DZ-HS303. Both feature a 2.7-inch widescreen display, 8GB internal drive, DVD-RAM, DVD±RW, and DVD-R support, and the “One Touch Dubbing” system that masters video DVDs without a host PC. The differences, however, seem to be entirely optical: the DZ-HS301 features a 1.3 megapixel sensor with 15x optical and 800x digital zoom, while the DZ-HS303 features a 3.3 megapixel sensor with 10x optical and 500x digital zoom. They’ll run for $1449 and $1649 Australian (about $1,150, and $1,300), respectively.
