Review: Gateway P-7811FX Gaming Notebook
Gateway has updated its FX gaming notebook lineup by introducing a new member to its P-Series FX edition called P-7811FX notebook PC. The Gateway P-7811FX is an ideal 17-inch gaming, entertainment and digital media notebooks with high-end graphics and enough CPU power. The P-7811FX is powered by Intel Centrino 2 processor technology with 4GB of RAM and 64-bit OS, delivering breakthrough performance and good energy efficiency, as well as Nvidia’s new GeForce 9800M GTS graphics card, that ups the screen resolution to an HD-friendly 1,920 x 1,200.
The Gateway P-7811FX comes with its black-and-copper chassis with faux carbon fiber design along with a gorgeous 17-inch wide-screen display that has a glossy coating and a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,200. Gateway has endowed the P-7811FX with a full-size keyboard complete with number pad, along with a row of media control buttons below the LCD. The P-7811FX also features 1.3 megapixel webcam (in-built), 802.11 Draft-N with expanded wirless features, 5-in-1 media card reader, three USB 2.0 ports and an IEEE 1394 port. Gateway P-7811FX is the fastest mobile gaming notebook available in the market at such low cost, it also offers a leading-edge technology which includes 4GB of memory,a 200GB hard drive, second drive bay, a multiformat dual layer DVDRW and comes with Microsoft Windows Home Premium 64-bit (OS) Edition.
