Review: BlueAnt V1 Bluetooth headset

blueant-v1-bluetooth-headset-award.jpgThe BlueAnt V1 is the world’s first voice-controlled Bluetooth headset added with Sensory’s BlueGenie voice interface. The BlueAnt’s V1 headset is offers an excellent audio quality along with stunning noise canceling and voice-isolation technologies. The V1 comes with a pinstripe exterior where a glossy striped silver plastic on front and a matte black plastic on its back and edges. The earpiece of the V1 comes with rubbery ear gels that dip a little deeper in the ear canal along with a flexible metal/plastic ear hook.

The BlueAnt V1 features no voice recognition tutorial but you can take help by saying “Teach Me”, if you forget the commands, you can say “What can I say?”, for manually pair a phone, you have to say “Pair Me” and many more voice commands. It also offers an excellent command “Call GOOG-411″ which automatically connects you to Google’s free 411 service. The V1 also features a voice isolation technology with voice-isolation sensor having two modes–Standard and Max for clear communication and the echo-cancellation where we can hear our callers’ just fine as well. The V1 also supports call mute, call waiting, and the capability to transfer calls from the headset to the phone and vice versa. Inspite of all the BlueAnt V1 lacks in its attractive design.
