Fujitsu LifeBook P8010 Laptop Review
Fujitsu Computer System has introduced the lifebook p8010 ultra-portable laptop featuring a 12.1 inch crystal view LED wide screen display in a smaller form factor, 6.5 hours of battery life, and an Intel core 2 Duo processor.
“The LifeBook P8010 notebook’s unique design and LED-based display enables Fujitsu to deliver the larger screen in a sub three-pound system that has almost the same footprint as its predecessor, the LifeBook P7230 notebook with a 10.6-inch display. With overall dimensions of 11.2 inches x 8.26 inches x 1.37 inches, the LifeBook P8010 notebook is designed for maximum portability.”
The P8010 sub-notebook features the Intel PRO/Wireless Network Connection, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and an integrated V.90 modem. This small laptop has a built-in DVD burner and provides a web camera option, three USB ports, and an SD card slot. The ultraportable incorporates the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) microchip, a fingerprint reader, and an optionally built-in web camera.
The LifeBook P8010 notebook, available in February, is priced starting at $1,699(2) for a fixed configuration through the Fujitsu direct sales force, website, channel partners and select retail outlets(3). Users can choose from a recommended configuration, or they can customize their system using the Fujitsu Configure To Order (CTO) program.
