Velocity Micro continues its success with “HTPCs”
Velocity Micro after celebrating the success of Media Center PC’s has just launched 2 new HTPC’s. The breathtaking features of this system include Windows Vista Premium
certification, sport ATI’s TV Wonder Digital Cable tuner and offers both HD DVD and Blu-Ray as installable options. Velocity Micro has left a interesting choice for the consumers as it offers both AMD and Intel based CPU systems.
The Velocity Micro also includes the CineMagix Pro Cinema a base level machine sports, a 500-watt power supply, AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, HDCP-compliant ATI Radeon X1950 Pro, an onboard 7.1 audio chip, 8-in-1 flash card reader, up to 1.5TB of hard drive space, dual gigabit Ethernet adapter, 802.11b/g, a pair of FireWire connectors, six USB 2.0 ports, and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Prices for the CineMagix Pro Cinema start at US$ 1699.
Now to assemble the machine with intel’s Quad core processing that is Core 2 Extreme X6800 or QX6700 is also possible with the Intel-powered cineMagix Grand Theater. Hence the system configured will be more powerful. The system memory offered is 4GB of RAM and system storage offered is 2.25TB and NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS. This device has the same peripherals and expandability options as for the CineMagix Pro Cinema. This product is available at the price of US$ 2,195.
