Apple introduces iMac range Desktop PC’s
Apple has launched an all-in-one iMac range desktop PC’s for which the market is looking for. This desktop computer has a lustrous texture and its screen is 20 and 24-inch wide. This iMac range has a cable for the power supply, one for the keyboard and the other one for the mouse which adds up a big competition in the market because of its tidy appearance as compared to other.
The most enthralling feature of this computer is the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. Hence a cable-free desktop for the consumers is now at their service.
The cost of 20-inch screen with 2.0GHz iMac costs Rs.64, 600 whereas the cost of 2.4GHz iMac costs Rs.80, 300 with the same screen size and the cost of 24-inch iMac is Rs.96, 100.
All the three models of i-Mac include iLife ‘08 and iWork ‘08. The iLife ‘08 has come up with its two more advanced features - iPhoto ‘08 and iMovie ‘08iPhoto ‘08 and iMovie ‘08i and iMovie ‘08. The iPhoto itself arranges photo libraries into Events to help users manage their numerous pictures. Making movies would be done with much faster speed with iMovie ‘ 08.The cost of iLife and iWork is Rs. 4, 050 each and the cost of five user copies is Rs. 5, 110.
With the help of iWork ‘08 users can prepare spreadsheets and can take the advantage of of its new feature Numbers ‘ 08.
Users can now rearrange information, add and resize columns without breaking the spreadsheet because of the multiple tables on a flexible canvas.
Apple also has added facility for users for sharing pictures ad movies directly from iLife ‘08 with anyone on Mac PC or iphone with .Mac Web Gallery. The storage memory is 10 GB, ten times from the previous one for individual member and 20 GB for family members which was previously 2 GB. .Mac subscribers are also provided with e-mail facility whose maximum size is 20 MB. The subscribers can also download high quality images for printing and can contribute photos using a standard web browser or e-mail.
There is an option to subscribe for .Mac Web Gallery.The charges for individual subscription is Rs. 4,800 yearly and for family is Rs. 8,710 that includes one master account and four sub-accounts. 60 days trial version of .Mac is also available which is free of cost.
